The second method does not preserve the milk ducts and allows the creation of a more bulky and visible nipple. It is recommended to do the first method. If the inverted nipple is very strong or the patient does not plan breastfeeding, second method can be used.

3) A large areola

There are two methods for reducing the large areola: from the inside and from the outside. From the inside - affects only the area around the nipple. From the outside - the area next to the skin of the chest. The internal method makes it possible to make a more natural kind of areola, but there are restrictions on the volume of reduction. The external method is more common and provides a more tangible and controlled result. The scar remains at the border of the new areola, so it is almost invisible.

Breast Reconstruction
